Hi guys, I know its been a while since I last blog, hehe, what to do, have been busy with school lah. Anyway, here are some recent updates. Well, for starters, I have got back my old interest in Big Band jazz music. This were the kind of music that I've enjoyed since Sec sch days just in case you didn't know(I know you are all going to say that wat a old man.... But come on I love stuff like tat) A bit of history for you who don't know this were the music that were most popular in the 1920s, but as time went by it sort of died out. Then I thought that it was hard to look for stuff like that since it was kinda a died out trend. But guess what, that day while I was i school, my classmate played this on her lappy and I got into the mood.... Haha, (btw Aisya, if you're reading this. Thks) Then it just so happen, my audio lecturer Mr Tan walk in and heard the music, and that was when he told us that he used to play in a band like this, COOL......
So, with such an established drummer who plays my favourite genre of music, obviously, I will ask him for some suggestions on the Big Band leaders right, so yup, I did and now I'm enjoying the CDs which I borrowed from my school library. I also happened to ask him to inform me if there is any upcoming performance in S'pore. I'm dying to watch a Big Band live in action man. Then, I also found out that I'm not the only one, 2 of my mates also listen to stuff like that. Haha, finally, I got some "Kaki" who share the same genre of music... Haha. So yup, can't wait for any performance man. So see ya guys ard.... Cya.... Till nest time
